I am currently using a high-speed projector with a minimum exposure time of 105 microseconds per frame. In my experiment, I project alternating all-white and all-black patterns continuously, with each frame having an exposure time of 105 µs.
Under this setting, the IMX636 sensor fails to generate any events. However, when I increase the exposure time to 500 µs, the sensor starts producing events normally.
I was wondering whether the rapid intensity changes at 105 µs exposure time could be too fast for the pixel to properly respond, thus resulting in no events being generated.
Could you please help confirm if this hypothesis is correct, or if there are other factors that might affect the sensor’s response under such fast-changing illumination conditions?
