Building Active markers on kria ubuntu: Sophos hangs on the Kria embedded kit (imx636)
Hello,
I am trying to get the event markers code to build & run on the kria ubuntu image, instead of the petalinux image. I am finding that building petalinux via the build tools is time consuming and requires a beefy machine, so I thought maybe switching to the ubuntu image and trying to install openeb, sophos, and all the dependencies could work, but I seem to run out of ram when building sophos?
I assume that even if I go the
kria docker route similar to how LogicTronix did their yolo application, the build will still fail on this step.
The event markers code does require Sophos to work, it is listed in the cmakelist.
Here is the command I am using to try and install and build sophos:
- echo "Installing Sophus"
- sudo curl -L "https://github.com/strasdat/Sophus/archive/1.22.10.zip" --output /tmp/Sophus.zip
- unzip /tmp/Sophus.zip -d /tmp/
- cmake -S /tmp/Sophus-1.22.10 -B /tmp/Sophus-1.22.10
- echo "Building Sophus"
- sudo cmake --build /tmp/Sophus-1.22.10 --target install --parallel 2
