Flickering bars on event stream

I have a Prophesee EVK4 camera and I'm noticing a strange occurrence when attempting to record a stream with the camera face down. There is constant bar flickering across the stream. Most other orientations are completely fine; it only falls apart with orientations close to facing directly downwards. An example of what happens is attached.

Things I've tried so far:
- Adjusting the cable
- Using different high-speed cables
- Updating drivers, SDK and software
- Using 4 different computers.

The camera has not received any physical shock so far. I'm completely stumped on what the cause could be. Is this a hardware issue and can this be fixed?
