Hello,
I have a question regarding the RCT (Ramp Contrast Threshold) value of the GENX320 from the datasheet. I don't understand how RCT=50% if NCT=30% :
Let's suppose that NCT=30%.
Using the values of the experimental setup for the RCT measurement, if we suppose that Maximum luminance is 1000lux, this means that we need at least a delta of luminance of 30 lux to generate an event.
So, between 10 lux and 1000 lux, we would ideally get 33 events on the rising edge of the triangle and 33 events on the falling edge of the triangle. So, for one periode, we'd get 66 events.
So we would have :
Cmax=(1000-10)/10=99 (if we suppose that we get events for these luminance values) a
n=66 (coutnig events on a single period)
This gives RCT=7.23%, which is well under 50%.
Is there something which I have misunderstood about the RCT ?
Cheers,
Michael
