Readout Saturation Error - Events Flashing Spontaneously

Hi,

I'm currently using the EVK4 Prophesee event camera, and am recording events via ros2 subscription into a rosbag recording. When I try to replay my recording, I notice that spontaneously (for different durations too), the events on the screen appear to flash or halve. I've attached a video to demonstrate this problem.

This means there's occasional dips in my event count across time, which is a problem for the research I'm trying to do with the camera.

I've taken a look at the Readout Saturation information on the Prophesee website, https://support.prophesee.ai/portal/en/kb/articles/sensor-readout-saturation, in addition to this thread from the Community, https://support.prophesee.ai/portal/en/community/topic/having-missing-events-in-the-images.

However, I think my problem boils down to something with the rosbag recording / ros2 subscriber, in "delaying" the amount of events that come through from the camera. I'm running this on my host Ubuntu 22.04 environment, and I installed it on binaries via https://github.com/ros-event-camera/metavision_driver.

I'd be very grateful for any help with how to solve this event stuttering! Thank you in advance :))
