I followed your documentation page to successfully record a RAW file with external trigger events using a wave generator. 

My question is about the exact function call from which the time is calculated in your example. When the time counter is initialized? Moreover, is there any way to impose a precise start time in the acquisition loop using the usual events iterator and the PeriodicFrameGenerationAlgorithm, for example to synch this value with system time, boot time etc. used in other parts of my code?
