Our EVKs are coming with firmwares installed on them. Depending on the EVK model and the acquisition date, you will have a specific version of the firmware. Current versions of the firmwares of your EVK can be seen with metavision_platform_info application.

Upgrade of the firmwares is optional unless:

- it is mentioned as required in the Metavision SDK Release Note

- or you get a message similar to "The EVK camera with serial XXX is using an old firmware version. Please upgrade to latest version"

Except of the aforementioned situations, if you are encountering another issues with your EVK and think that its firmware should be upgraded, please contact the Support Team  first to check if the firmware update is necessary or if the root cause is somewhere else.

In the case where you actually need to upgrade the firmware, find below the links to the ugrade procedure for each EVK along with the last version of the firmwares (request your KC account if you don't have one, and contact Support team if you still can't access your page as some are restricted ).
