Sensor's Quantum Efficiency / Spectral Response
The Quantum Efficiency (QE) is derived from the LIFO (Light Input Frequency Output) feature of the sensor.
Note that the LIFO must be calibrated and this calibration is done via a dedicated pin not accessible on EVKs
Here we share some indicative values about results found for each of our sensor's generation.
Official values should be retrieved from the Datasheet but those values give you a first idea on our sprectral response.
Quantum Efficiency for Gen31, Gen40 and Gen41:
LED Wavelength | 455nm | 505nm | 625nm | 850nm | 940nm |
Gen31 | 37% | 39% | 37% | 15% | 5% |
Gen40 | 42% | 52% | 52% | 23% | 11% |
Gen41 | 60% | 78% | 69% | 28% | 13% |
Relative Spectral Response for IMX636 and IMX646
LED Wavelength | 455nm | 505nm | 625nm | 850nm | 940nm |
IMX636/IMX646 | 88% | 100% | 92% | 39% | 18% |
Note: this table is relative to the wavelength that has the higher response (505nm)
Quantum Efficiency for GenX320 (preliminary results)
LED Wavelength | 365 nm | 455nm | 530 nm | 590nm | 625nm | 850nm | 940nm | 1050 nm |
GenX320 | 58 % | 89% | 94% | 87% | 84% | 43% | 20 % | 5 % |
